Right-click shortcut menus allow rapid access to different file manipulation options, while convenient drag 'n' drop functionality will allow you to upload new files from your personal computer in an instant. You will also find integrated file editors and an image viewer. You will be able to compress and unzip files without difficulty too.
Fast File Uploads and Downloads
Working with the File Manager feels like working with your PC. The built-in drag 'n' drop functionality will enable you to easily move files between your desktop computer and the web hosting server. Just select the file that you would like to upload from your desktop PC and then drag it to your browser window. The same applies to downloading a file from the File Manager to your personal computer. Additionally, you can download files and even folders to your disk drive by clicking the Download button.
Easy File Editing Options
With the File Manager user interface, you can create a brand new file or folder with only a click. All action buttons are handily located above the file/folder list and you can modify your files without difficulty. You can rename or copy a file, move a file to another folder, preview the contents of a file or change its permissions, erase a file, and so on.
Handy Archive/Unarchive Functionality
With the File Manager interface, you will be able to zip and uncompress all types of files. It works stunningly fast - simply select the files you wish to make an archive of and click the Compress button. You can even select the archive type (.rar, .zip, etc.). It is just as easy to extract an archive to a selected folder.
File Editors
With the File Manager GUI, you actually do not need any external software tools to update your files. There is an image viewer, which enables you to see the contents of your image files to get a clue about how the images will actually appear on your site. Plus, you will find several in-built file editors, which will grant you total control over your files. The plain text editor and the code editor are meant for more knowledgeable users, whereas the WYSIWYG editor (where you can see all code changes in real time) is also suitable for non-tech-savvy users.
